NEW Adoption books just in time for Christmas!
Hi All! I may have slowed down a tad with my posts for the month of December but that does not mean I am not here! I am still trying to be active on my social media as well as prepping for the new year.
One of the things I will be doing in my “off” time is reading two books to review for you in the new year.
BUT I didn’t want to wait until the new year to tell you about them.
Mainly because just hearing from the authors and having read the book jackets I am ALREADY super excited about these two books and think they would make fantastic Christmas Presents!
Now you know why I can’t wait until the new year to tell you about them….it would be too late for you to snag them up as gift of course!!
So what are these books I am talking about? Well the first two are for the adults.
*Drum roll please*
Book #1 -Kirabo: A Journey of Faith, Love and Adoption![]()
(The cool thing about this book -besides the book itself- is that all the proceeds will go towards two amazing Ugandan NGO’s and potentially also small adoption grants) LOVE seeing books like this give back!
Book #2 -Forever Mom: What to Expect When You’re Adopting![]()
Why I am so excited about this book is because I remember back when we were first waiting to adopt. I bought so many resources on adoption or those what to expect baby books trying to mold them together and help me out in my situation. Since I haven’t read this book yet I am assuming it does this for you! If you check it out following the link you can read the chapter listings and get a feel for what the books resources are about.
Just in case you missed it – Two new children’s Adoption Books:
Book #1 – Mei-Mei’s Lucky Birthday Noodles: A Loving Story of Adoption, Chinese Culture and a Special Birthday Treat![]()
My book review on the above book can be read here.
Book #2 – Jovi’s Path: A Book Celebrating the Path of Adoption![]()
My book review on the above book can be read here and if you head there before December 5th you can still enter for the GIVEAWAY!
Anywho….that’s my suggestions for adoption books as gifts just before Christmas! Hope you check them out!
