Fall is upon us, in other words Infinity Scarf Season!

My favorite time of year.

The Sky is slowly dropping golden leaves to cover the ground, I get to wear comfy but cute clothing and FINALLY the crazy heat waves are no more.

Ahhhhhh…..I LOVE this season.

What would go better with my favorite season but my favorite accessory!

Scarves, and of all the scarves in my closet (I am afraid to count them but I think I am in the over 30 range) the infinity scarf is the one I reach for the most often.

So why not sew a few to update my wardrobe!Image may be NSFW.

How to Easily Sew an Infinity Scarf:

Items needed to make an Infinity Scarf:

• Fabric (1 Yard)
• Sewing Machine
• Needle & Thread
• Pins
• Measuring tape
• Fabric Scissors or a cutting mat & rotary cutter

Sewing an Infinity Scarf Step 1:

Cut your fabric to 60in x 30 in. (I did a bit less but that is because I fell in love with a fabric remnant and couldn’t walk away without turning it into a scarf.)

Sewing an Infinity Scarf Step 2:

Fold the fabric in half (long ways)  keeping the raw sides of the fabric facing out.

Sewing an Infinity Scarf Step 3:

Sew the pinned edge together keeping about 3 inches free on each end for later.

Sewing an Infinity Scarf Step 4:

Turn the scarf right side out.

Then Pin the two openings of the right sided ends together. Don’t forget to match up the seams, sew it up.

Now you can hand stitch the space we left earlier (the 3 inches on each side) remembering to hand knot each end of the thread so it doesn’t fall apart later.

And you are DONE! Easy right?!
